Getting an accountYou open an account by applying at the ‘sign up’ page and simply follow the instructions. After your application has been approved, you will receive an email with your username and password. Once you sign you in, go to your ‘my account’ area to see your rate list, download invoices and make pre-payments.
Each customer can make a couple of test calls before making a pre-payment.
Payments
CallTrading is only a prepaid service. You can set up your payment plan through your ‘my account’ area and choose either Only bank transfer (SEPA instant) and online Card payment from link.
Available accounts
There are two account currencies: EUR. Your rate lists, payments and billing will be in whatever currency you have chosen.
Available routes
CallTrading offers 3 routes (EUR), each with different rates and quality levels:
| CallTrading Grey: | lowest possible rate, no guaranteed quality |
| CallTrading Standard: | low rate, high quality |
| CallTrading Premium: | slightly higher rate, best possible quality |
Every route has it's own dialling format:
For example for calls to Germany:

For the ratelists of each route, please visit the 'Rates'-page. Our rates are billed per second.
Getting connected
The username & password can also be used to connect to our SIP-server in order to make calls.
IP authentication is
possible on request.
Here are the settings:

We support the following codecs:
- G.711A (64 kbps)
- G.711U (64 kbps)
- G.729 (8 kbps)
If you cannot connect by using Username & Password, we can also authenticate your fixed IP address(es).
After we authenticated your IP, you can connect by using the following IP-adresses:

Important!
If you are using a hosted voip softswitch provider like eq. Kayote Networks (etc), make sure you are ONLY using IP addresses which are uniquely assigned to your account (check this with you provider).
